Use Latest IOS / IPadOS
Group FaceTime requires IOS 12.1.4 or later so make sure your device is running IOS greater than 12.1.4. To check which IOS you are using on your device follow this method.
- Open the Settings App.
- Tap on General.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap on Software Update.
Some of the older devices do not have this feature so it is better to check if your old iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch are compatible with the Group FaceTime feature. Here is the list of Apple products that are compatible with the Group FaceTime feature.
- iPhone 6s and Later.
- iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4, iPad 5th generation, and later.

Check if FaceTime is Available in Your Country
FaceTime is available all around the world but some countries have banned FaceTime feature. Here is a list of countries where FaceTime is banned, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, and Qatar. Moreover, If you have purchased your Apple device form these countries than you are unable to use the FaceTime feature on that device anywhere around the world.

Check FaceTime Settings
